(DOWNLOAD MP3) BUY THE TRUTH BY APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN – Zion Praise Chapel, Ghana 2022
Accessing the truth is an essential aspect of human existence. It is the foundation upon which we build our beliefs, values, and principles. Truth is the bedrock of our identity, and without it, we are lost. However, accessing the truth is not always a straightforward process. It requires effort, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of knowledge.
The statement “Buy the truth and sell it not” is a powerful admonition to seek and hold onto the truth at all costs. It implies that the truth is valuable and worth acquiring. It also suggests that the truth is not always readily available and that we must be willing to pay a price to obtain it.
To buy the truth, we need currency, and this currency includes hunger and thirst for the things of the spirit, humility, and others. Hunger and thirst refer to a deep-seated desire to know the truth. It is the hunger that drives us to seek knowledge and the thirst that keeps us going when we encounter obstacles. Humility, on the other hand, is the recognition that we do not have all the answers and that we need help in our quest for truth. It is the willingness to listen to others and consider their perspectives.
